Annually, law schools across the country invite law firms to interview law students. OCIs (On-Campus Interviews) are a day of interviews by multiple law firms that target incoming second-year law students.
The BLSA understands the importance of OCIs to law students. Therefore, we aim to assist students and provide information on how to navigate the OCI process. First we will have a presentation by a 3L student who has had success in the OCI process, followed by a panel of lawyers and 3L law students who were, again, successful in the OCI process. We will touch base on different topics. For example, students will learn how to self reflect before tackling the OCI application process, correctly write a cover letter, and learn how to make connections within the legal field.
Panelists:
Gladys Osien, Gowling WLG
Kyle Elliott, Blakes
Danielle Rawlinson, Monkhouse Law
Sarah Muboyayi, 3L - French Common Law
Seun Senbore, 3L - English Common Law
This event will be held in English but we welcome students to ask question to the bilingual panelists in french!
