The BLSA Presents: BLACK BODIES AND ANTI-BLACK RACISM

The Black Law Students' Association of the University of Ottawa is partnering with the Greenberg Chair and University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (Common Law) to proudly present BLACK BODIES AND ANTI-BLACK RACISM with Dr. Charmaine Nelson, Dr. Rachel Zellars, and Dr. Hadiya Roderique.

Date: Thursday November 5th, 2020 at 6:00pm EST via Zoom.

This panel event will be centered around anti-Black racism and current events. We will touch on systemic racism and slavery in Canada, how Black people navigate various fields of work, and how people can engage in dismantling anti-Black racism in and out of the workplace. The discussion will also focus on how these issues intersect with the legal system and profession. We also invite all event goers to anonymously submit a question for the panelists through the registration form.
